Matt Forte, Ka'Deem Carey's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 6
As usual, Matt Forte was an all-purpose yardage machine in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons. That shouldn't have been a shock to anyone.
What might have come as a bit of a surprise, though was the subtle yet noteworthy contributions from his backup, rookie Ka'Deem Carey.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Forte came through with 157 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in another balanced performance. Fortunately for the Bears, he didn't turn the ball over as he did last week against the Carolina Panthers, and the team won 27-13.
Forte does a little bit of everything for the Bears, and as long as he's healthy, he should be an automatic start because of his work in the running and passing game. However, if he ever goes down with an injury, keep your eyes on Carey as a logical and potentially fruitful replacement.
He had just four carries, but he showed a nice burst when he had opportunities. He also has soft hands that might enable him to mimic some of Forte's success as a receiver, if the rookie is ever pressed into a starting role.

Against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 28, Carey had 72 yards on just 14 carries, so he's shown the ability to produce before.
Bears fans hope they won't have to see Carey getting extended time this season, but if he does, he could become one of the better late-season pickups.
