Chelsea to Pip Arsenal to the Signing of Sami Khedira?
1 of 3
He's long been a target for Arsenal, but it seems Real Madrid's Sami Khedira could be on his way to Chelsea if a move to London does indeed materialise.
The Express reports Chelsea hold the trump card in Petr Cech, who Real are interested in bringing to the Bernabeu as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
Any deal involving Khedira joining Chelsea would see Cech moving the other way and Arsenal cannot boast such leverage.
Khedira played under Jose Mourinho during his three years as Real boss and it's believed the Portuguese is eager for a reunion with the midfielder to give him more options in the middle of the pitch.
Jose Mourinho Reveals He Twice Turned Down Paris Saint-Germain
2 of 3
With his track record and reputation as one of the world's finest football managers, Jose Mourinho is a man who will always be in demand—particularly so in Paris.
The Chelsea boss has revealed he has twice turned down the opportunity to become PSG boss.
Speaking to Telefoot (via the Daily Mail), he said:
"I knew about the project [at PSG] even before it began. I was Leonardo’s first choice [to be manager ahead of Ancelotti in 2011].
And when Carlo left [in 2013], they made me another offer. I have rejected them twice.
I thought a lot about it. But the first time there was Real Madrid, and the second time there was Chelsea.
The club has an enormous amount of quality, Laurent Blanc is a good manager, [Nasser] Al-Khelaifi a good President. They are in good hands.

Chelsea Targetting Stuttgart Defender Antonio Rudiger
3 of 3
Twenty-one-year-old Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger is a transfer target for Chelsea, according to the Daily Star.
The German had been expected to join West Ham United last summer, but Hammers manager Sam Allardyce was put off by his £7 million price tag.
Rudiger is also reported to have gone cold on the move, preferring to hold out for a transfer to one of the Premier League's leading clubs.
The Daily Star's report suggests Chelsea are interested in the German as an alternative to Raphael Varane, who would cost Chelsea a reported £40 million.
