Liverpool's Lazar Markovic reportedly suffered an injury on international duty with Serbia that saw him leave the pitch after less than half an hour against Armenia.
Sport-Express' Artur Petrosyan didn't like the look of the injury:
The 20-year-old winger reportedly tore a muscle, according to Slavic Football Union:
Markovic joined Liverpool from Benfica during the summer window and has had a (predictably) difficult start to life at Anfield. Oozing with talent, he's still getting used to the pace of the Premier League and developing as a player, seeing the pitch on just five occasions so far, per WhoScored.com.
The Reds have already faced their fair share of injuries related to the international break, with Daniel Sturridge's no doubt stealing the headlines. Markovic will now only add to the misery, but if the initial assessment of two to three weeks on the sidelines is correct, things could have been far worse for Liverpool.
