Luke Harper Will Be the Breakout Member of The Wyatt Family
WWE has recently started airing video packages hyping Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. This means that the two enforcers for Bray Wyatt are about to get their own pushes, which is outstanding news for everyone.
Bray Wyatt is a unique talent who has delivered in every aspect of sports entertainment time and time again, but his brothers in The Wyatt Family have always played second fiddle to their charismatic leader.
However, you can't keep good talent down. You would have to be blind not to notice the potential both Harper and Rowan have.

Reigns' Air Jordans Release Date
Rowan has definitely shown a lot of promise, especially when it comes to his raw power. After all, slamming Big Show with as much ease as Rowan does is not an easy feat to accomplish.
Rowan is going to be a monster who could end up becoming one of the best heels in WWE, but Harper is going to be huge in every possible way.
You always hear people talk about "it." Nobody really knows what "it" is, but you know it when you see it, and Luke Harper definitely has it.
Nobody can be successful in WWE being good at just one part of the business. Getting to the top requires many different skills, and Harper has all of them.
Wrestling and Storytelling Ability
In order to be a top Superstar, you have to be able to put on a great show between the ropes. You can't just be a powerhouse or a technician; you have to know how to tell a story.
Certain independent promotions have matches that are exciting spot-fests, but there is no underlying story to them. Just because a guy can hit a corkscrew springboard moonsault doesn't mean he knows how to wrestle a good match. That is why the guys who lead the biggest company in wrestling aren't spot monkeys.
It's all about the drama and the flow of the match. When indy wrestling first started to gain prominence on the Internet about seven years ago, there were a few names who were being mentioned over and over.
You always came across guys like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Brodie Lee (for those who don't know, Brodie Lee is Luke Harper's old moniker).
This guy was a monster who did things nobody his size ever considered doing, and he is still doing that kind of stuff in WWE today. When was the last time you saw a guy who was close to 300 pounds hit a dropkick, hurricanrana, suicide dive or superkick? Harper uses those moves in almost every match.
He is also a great brawler who can go to the mat and wrestle when he needs to. His bag of tricks is absolutely full at this point, but more importantly he knows how to make a match flow.
He really began to show the kinds of things he was capable of during the feud between The Wyatt Family and The Shield. It was Harper and Seth Rollins who were doing all the things that got the crowd on its feet.
Harper is so versatile in the ring but hasn't even been given a chance to show everything he can do. This new push will give him that chance, and people will see just how great he really is.
When it's all said and done and we look back in 20 years on The Wyatt Family, it will end up being Luke Harper who is viewed as the best performer in the ring.
Character and Charisma
In order to be a success, you have to be able to play a character people want to see. Bray Wyatt has been an amazing character to watch, but Harper is going to be even better.
The little bit we have seen from Harper shows that he has performance skills most wrestlers would kill for. He plays a character, and you totally buy that he really is that guy. It's not a skill everyone can master.
Before WWE, he played a type of "trucker" gimmick but has retained a lot of the craziness from that character while playing Luke Harper. The Harper character has given him a way to stand out from the large amount of cookie-cutter wrestlers on the roster.
Being able to make an impact with just a few sentences is how you differentiate yourself from everyone else, and Harper has already been able to do that with the limited amount of time he has had with a mic in his hand.
If Harper breaks off from Wyatt at some point in the near future, his character will blossom into something we have never seen before. You won't realize how great it is until you look back on it later.
The crowd always loves when he goes on a rampage in the ring, and if given the chance to play a babyface, he could become one of the most unconventional heroes this business has ever seen.
Many comparisons have been made to Bruiser Brody and Mick Foley, but Harper has been able to become something totally different. Mick Foley expressed this sentiment on his Facebook page:
"Finding your way, and blazing your own unique path is no easy task in WWE, especially when standing in the very long shadow of Bray Wyatt. But Harper has found that way. I wasn't ready to buy into the Bruiser Brody comparison, no matter how many times it was brought up. Brody, a legend in the business, and a huge inspiration on my own career, was known as 'the intelligent monster.' Harper has excelled in my mind, by stepping off that path that Brody blazed, and finding his own, unique way to excel in WWE - as the guy who can do anything at any time, without any seeming rhyme or reason. The hurricanrana followed by a dropkick makes perfect sense, because it makes absolutely no sense.
"
The sky is the limit for Harper's character, and hopefully he will get the chance to reach his potential.
What do you think? Is Luke Harper going to be the breakout member of The Wyatt Family?
