Mario Balotelli Upset as Pet Pig, Super, Is Denied Entry to Britain
We might finally have a reason for Mario Balotelli's poor start to his Liverpool career: He is pining for his pet pig, Super.
According to The Sun (subscription required), red tape is keeping the pig from being allowed to move from Italy to England: "Government rules mean to get the black-spotted animal here he must first register as a breeder, then get a certificate of health from an Italian vet before she is allowed to fly."
Balotelli got the pig in August 2013, when he was still at AC Milan. He even tweeted a picture of his new friend.

A source told The Sun:
"His (Balotelli's) transfer from Milan took less time (than getting the pig to Britain).
He's bent the ear of the people in the office, everyone.
The lads have got to hear about it and the swines are giving him loads. He just laughs it off and talks about what great pets pigs are.
"
Let's hope Mario and Super are reunited soon.
