Manchester United Transfer News: Arturo Vidal Hopes Grow Amid Juventus Talks
Manchester United could finally be about to make their move for Chile superstar Arturo Vidal, who is set to hold talks with Juventus after he broke the club's code of conduct before their vital Serie A clash with Roma.
Colin Harvey of the Daily Star reported that the owners of the Italian champions were upset by Vidal's actions and will now seek emergency talks with the player after he was spotted at 5 a.m. outside a nightclub, just 72 hours before the match.
Harvey noted that reports now suggest Vidal's asking price will be lowered by the Old Lady after CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, said a fine imposed on the player may not be the last punishment handed out by the club.

United have been in the hunt for Vidal since Louis van Gaal took the reigns at Old Trafford and now could be their perfect chance to secure the world-class talent.
Former Juventus player Alessio Tacchinardi strongly advised Vidal to clarify his future in a recent interview with Tuttosport, per Chisanga Malata of the Daily Star:
"If there are any issues outside of the football, or if he wants to go to another club, it should be clear by now and for sure the best solution will be found for everyone. But if he has in his head and heart only Juve, the attitude changes and he can go back to as before.
"
Ed Malyon of the Mirror tweeted about Vidal's nightclub altercation, including a picture of the player allegedly fighting outside, as printed by Gazzetta dello Sport:
Concerns had surfaced about Vidal's health over the summer after a knee injury almost ruined his World Cup hopes, but the player managed to feature prominently for his country in Brazil.
Vidal has started the season impressively for Juve in their opening five Serie A games. The team has a 100 percent record and the Chilean has netted twice, per Squawka.
But Vidal was left on the bench for the key game against Roma, only coming on as a late substitute.
Despite the nightclub incident, there is no doubt that Vidal is still one of the best midfielders in the world and he would further strengthen Manchester United after their huge spending in the summer.

United are still desperately short in the midfield department despite the acquisitions of Ander Herrera and Daley Blind, and the addition of Vidal would help the overall balance of Van Gaal's team.
The all-important factor here is how much money it will take for Juve to allow their prized asset to leave. Their pursuit of Champions League glory will surely not see them sell in January but if Vidal's behaviour continues to be poor, there might be a shock on the cards.
United know that Vidal's capture would be a statement of intent as they look to finish in the top four and make their way back into Europe's premier competition for next season.
Vidal would be the engine in the centre of the park, allowing Angel Di Maria to raid forward and support the team's stellar striking line-up. This line-up would petrify every team in the Premier League.
