Real Madrid Transfer News: Gareth Bale Shows Team Bond in Cristiano Ronaldo Plea

Among the melting pot of world-class superstars at Real Madrid, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have developed a fluid partnership over the past year. It's up there with some of the most devastating in the club's history.

However, with the acquisition of such godly powers also comes the risk of egos butting heads and personalities clashing, but such wouldn't appear to be the case between this £166 million pair.

Ronaldo has again been linked with a move back to former club Manchester United in recent months, but Bale is adamant to see his team-mate remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"He's obviously a player we wouldn't want to see leave. Of course I want to see him stay at Real Madrid. He's shown what a world-class player he is year after year scoring the goals he has," he told reporters.

More selfish characters in Bale's rare position might take another stance, with a Ronaldo departure potentially promising more individual worth for the Welshman.

But it would seem the team's needs rank above all else for the former Tottenham whiz. Manager Carlo Ancelotti can be glad about that in his bid to satisfy a raft of talented individuals.

Of course, holding on to Ronaldo gives Real a better chance at silverware. It's a simple formula in principle: Quality combined with quantity produces success. With that said, football is in fact far more complicated, asplayer needs and expectations are mitigating variables.

Since arriving in the Spanish capital, however, Bale and Ronaldo—two-thirds of the "BBC" trifecta up front alongside Karim Benzema—have terrorised Europe. OptaJose illustrated how powerful this particular combination has been in attack:

Ancelotti steered Los Merengues to Champions League success last season, a feat which can by no means be accomplished by only a few select players. However, Ronaldo is and always has been their centrepiece—the apple of Real's eye.

If that presence were to all of a sudden, say, take a trip back to England, the Spanish giants would require another figure to plug the void and reap the benefits that come with it.

Bale would have every chance of being the top candidate.

But from his eagerness to see Ronaldo remain, it's safe to say Bale has bigger concerns in view, and crafting a harmonious, trophy-laden environment ranks highly in his mind.

Ever since the originals dissolved, talk at the Bernabeu incessantly turns to when the next incarnation of the Galacticos will appear. With this brand of unselfish spirit running throughout, we may find confirmation that it's already here.
