Anyone who's played video games in their lifetime understands the notion that no game is perfect. Developers may try their very best to make each facet of these fun-filled virtual concoctions perfect, but that's rarely the case.

Glitches run wild. Some of them are frustrating, and others are hilarious. With so many choices to go around, we've done our best to narrow down 10 of the funniest glitches in sports video game history. Here's what we came up with.

Madden 15: Tiny Player

Madden 15 is a frustrating endeavor to begin with. It's filled with a whole bunch of nonsense and crazy plays. But this tiny-player glitch takes things to another level.

Can you imagine trying to sack a quarterback or tackle a runner near the end zone with a linebacker the size of a blade of grass? That kind of stuff is how you get grown men apologizing to their kids for shattering the family TV.

NBA 2K14: Giants on the Court

Yao Ming was tall. Manute Bol was tall. Those players may have been colossal, but the guy in this game, well, he's astronomically large.

The NBA 2K franchise has been a revelation for basketball fans. Its smooth gameplay and rich visuals have made it the best basketball simulation on the market. But sometimes, even the best has its flaws.

The proof is in this clip. Look at the size of this player. You cannot guard someone that big if they possess half a brain. Too bad the player in this clip has a post game worse than a high school gym teacher.

FIFA 13: The Vanishing Goalie

Your eyes are fine. This isn't a scene from The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. What you're watching is the epic vanishing goalie glitch from FIFA 13. 

It's a trick in which you were able to bring out your goalie, make a quick sub and then, while he is attacking a defense, another goalie magically appears to block shots. As entertaining as it might have been, thankfully newer versions of the game fixed this issue.

Madden 15: Flying Player

Offensive linemen know that good technique and a lot of strength is a sinister combination in the NFL. You can block just about anyone not named J.J. Watt if you can master that harmonious recipe.

Madden 15 took that maxim to another level, installing robot-like strength on some of the offensive linemen. Take a look at this flying-player glitch. The guy lined up at guard for the St. Louis Rams is so strong that he's able to toss an oncoming Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman 80 feet into the air.

The only logical explanation I can muster up is maybe one of the developers from NFL Blitz sneaked in and added this feature to the game.

FIFA 12: The Kissing Glitch

Celebrations in soccer have always been a part of the sport's mystique. Knowing the fans love it, FIFA, as a franchise, has loaded its games with a copious amount of these celebrations.

We've seen a ton of these routines, but none quite stack up to this bizarre kissing ritual glitch in FIFA 12. Watch as Andy Carroll—at the time playing for Liverpool—blasts a goal into the top shelf of the net and then celebrates by laying a passionate kiss on the rival goalkeeper.

NBA Live 06: The Entire Game

This YouTube video perfectly sums up how bad NBA Live 06 really was. Basketball enthusiasts will remember the 2006 edition for its nonstop glitches and third-rate gameplay.

What was once a great way to enjoy simulation-style hoops, NBA Live has become a wasteland of terribleness. When will EA Sports realize that there's no reason to make this game anymore? It's time to move on and enjoy the brilliance that is NBA 2K15.

Fight Night Round 4: Just Dance

Fight Night Round 4 was an excellent boxing game. It featured a dense roster of fighters, fluid gameplay and you were always one clean punch away from a blinding knockout.

Before the game itself dropped on shelves in 2009, the demo was released so the public could get a taste for what this title had to offer. Calling on Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao, players were allowed to test out the controls of the game for three rounds.

Demos aren't always smooth, and that was evident when this one dropped. Behold, the "dancing" glitch. They took Hatton's propensity for hanging onto opponents and amplified it. If anyone played the demo, you may remember this fantastic glitch.

NBA 2K11: Extra Defense

Defense wins championships. No matter what the sport is, having an excellent defense can propel a franchise to heights it's never reached before.

In this infamous glitch from NBA 2K11, the Houston Rockets took that theory a little too far. Playing defense on a free throw? Who let this happen? What kind of coach teaches his players to do this?

FIFA 14: The Spider Keeper

Behold, the greatest goalie in the history of soccer.

This mutant goalkeeper who was birthed from an obscene glitch in FIFA 14 cannot be stopped. Although the commentary featured in the clip is littered with words not suitable for a place of worship, how do you expect someone to react when they see this spiderlike thing on the pitch?

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010: The Swimming Glitch

WWE has done just about everything you can imagine inside of the ring. Cage matches, inferno matches—if it's out of control, odds are it has been done.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 was just trying to keep up the tradition. In what appears to be a magic trick, The Great Khali sinks into the ring, never to be seen again. His opponent also falls into the quicksand and gets stuck trying to fight his way out.
