Barcelona Paid over €300,000 on a 'Party Private Jet' for Neymar's Friends
There have been some crazy stories emerge about the lengths Barcelona went to just to secure the signing of Brazilian star Neymar.
Given that an orgy for Neymar's father was reportedly part of the deal, the latest revelation sounds rather tame in comparison.
Marca have now stated that more than €300,000 was paid by the club so that the player's friends and family could be flown over for his Barcelona presentation in style.
Ex-Barcelona president Sandro Rosell's testimony in the Neymar case, which is currently being held in the Spanish courts, has been reported by the Spanish publication:
"Sandro Rosell's testimony to judge Ruz in the Neymar case at Spain's National High Court would suggest that Barca spent €300,000 on a private jet to fly Neymar, his family and his friends over on the day of his presentation.
According to information from TV channel Cadena SER, the payment in question was called 'Neymar party private jet: €301,000'. Rosell justified this saying that it's considered 'standard expenses when you sign a particular type of player'.
