
2014 Week 6 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2014 Week 6 fantasy football tight end rankings.
1. Julius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Julius Thomas is averaging 56.5 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game. He has scored in all four games this year and should keep rolling against the New York Jets.
2. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Gronk has scored a touchdown in three straight games and four of five games on the year. His 100 yards last week against the Cincinnati Bengals topped his previous season high by 56 yards. He may not be all the way back, but he’s getting there. Look for another strong performance against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have allowed 251.8 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game.
3. Martellus Bennett, Chicago Bears
Martellus Bennett had a reality check in Week 5 as he was held to 17 yards. He’s still averaging 73.8 yards and 0.8 touchdowns. Look for him to return to form against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have allowed 259.6 yards per game.
4. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Greg Olsen is averaging 65.2 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game, including a pair of scores last week against the Bears. He’ll look to stay hot against the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati gave up 185 combined yards last week to Gronk and Tim Wright.
5. Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans
Delanie Walker is averaging 72.8 yards and 0.6 touchdowns. He faces the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have allowed 308.8 yards and 2.4 touchdowns per game through the air.
6. Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers
Antonio Gates is averaging 55 yards and a touchdown per game. He’s a strong play against the Oakland Raiders.
7. Larry Donnell, New York Giants
Larry Donnell was held without a catch last week after going for three touchdowns in Week 4. He’s still averaging 47.2 yards and 0.8 touchdowns. He should get back in the action against the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly has allowed 274.2 yards and 2.6 touchdowns per game through the air.
8. Dwayne Allen, Indianapolis Colts
Dwayne Allen is averaging 40.8 yards per game and has scored a touchdown in four of five games. He goes up against the Houston Texans. Houston has allowed 253.2 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game.
9. Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns
Jordan Cameron is off to a slow start thanks to a shoulder injury. He faces the Pittsburgh Steelers again. He had 47 yards against them in Week 1.
10. Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers
Heath Miller is averaging 48.6 yards on the year and 60.7 yards the past three weeks.
