Chris Ivory, Chris Johnson's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
Chris Ivory out-performed Chris Johnson yet again on Sunday. The two New York Jets running backs have been splitting carries all season, but every week it seems more obvious that Ivory is giving the team and fantasy owners more production.
Take a look at the two backs' statistical comparison from the Jets' embarrassing 31-0 defeat at the hands of the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
| Rushes | 9 | 7 |
| Rushing Yards | 44 | 24 |
| Receptions | 0 | 1 |
| Receiving Yards | 0 | -2 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ivory has the only 100-yard rushing game between the two all year. He's rushed for more yards and he has more touchdowns. This is also the fourth time in five games this season that Ivory has averaged more yards per carry than Johnson.
Fantasy owners must be slow to pounce on Ivory, or at least hesitant to start him as an RB1.
While Johnson's carries have diminished every game since Week 1, he's still getting touches that could be going to Ivory. It may be smart to play Ivory at a flex position in Week 6 against the Denver Broncos before potentially turning him loose against the New England Patriots in Week 7.
