Peyton Manning, Wes Welker, Julius Thomas' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
The Denver Broncos offense lit up a tough Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 5, featuring stellar play from all the usual suspects, including quarterback Peyton Manning, tight end Julius Thomas and wide receiver Wes Welker
Manning threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns, with two of them going to Thomas, who is quite possibly the premier player at his position at this point in the season.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| Thomas | 6 | 66 | 2 | 7 |
| Welker | 7 | 58 | 0 | 9 |
CBS Sports' Gil Brandt noted that he is leading the league in touchdown catches after this week's sterling performance:
As this post from ESPN Stats & Info points out, Manning has been putting up beastly fantasy numbers for a long time:
Welker, appearing in just his second game of the season, caught seven passes for 58 yards. He seamlessly stepped back into his role as the ultimate checkdown option, drawing attention away from the likes of Thomas and picking up extra yardage with his slippery moves.
Manning might as well come with a no-trade clause in fantasy football leagues. He remains the ultimate QB1 choice for just about any fantasy football roster.
Thomas is deserving of the same untouchable status as a week-in, week-out TE1. Welker is a definite WR3 or flex option at this point with the Broncos offense firing on all cylinders.
