Andre Ellington's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
Though Andre Ellington didn't get a ton of touches against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals running back proved he can make the most of his opportunities.
Ellington showed his big-play ability when he took a pass from Logan Thomas 81 yards for a third-quarter score to draw the Cardinals within four points. Ultimately, the Cardinals fell 41-20, but Ellington's stat line is still inspiring.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Coming into the game, Ellington hadn't found the end zone all season, but he ended his scoring drought with a bang. The long pass play was his second score of the day.
As the man expected to be the Cardinals' feature back for the foreseeable future, Ellington has registered as more than just a blip on fantasy football owners' radars. Sunday's game could be just the beginning of a solid run as a fantasy points producer.
Over the next four weeks, the Cardinals only play one team that had a run defense ranked in the top 10 heading into Sunday's game. Here are the Cards' upcoming opponents and the ranking against the run:
- Washington - 8th
- Oakland Raiders - 31st
- Philadelphia Eagles - 26th
- Dallas Cowboys - 14th
Washington has been decent against the run this season, as they rank eighth in rushing yards allowed per game, but the Oakland Raiders , Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys should present Ellington with some opportunities to succeed.
That should be enough to lock him in as an RB2 with RB1 upside.
