LeSean McCoy, Darren Sproles' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
The Philadelphia Eagles have not been as dynamic on the offensive side of the ball this season, and fantasy owners have been dealing with inconsistent performances from running backs LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles.
McCoy is getting the workload needed to be a viable fantasy threat, and is finally regaining his form from last season. Through the first two quarters of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, McCoy had 11 rushes for 46 yards, four receptions for five yards, but was unable to score a touchdown in the first half.
McCoy ended the day with 86 total yards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| LeSean McCoy | 24 | 81 | 3.4 | 0 |
| Darren Sproles | 7 | 51 | 7.3 | 0 |
On the other hand, Sproles had only touched the ball twice through halftime, running it two times for 10 yards each time. He ended the day with 51 yards on seven carries. Philadelphia is using Sproles in a change-of-pace role on the ground, but the lack of a reception all day is alarming.
Both McCoy and Sproles must build momentum moving forward as the Eagles take on the division rival Giants next week. New York has played much better defensively over recent weeks, and Philadelphia’s rushing attack must be strong against the Giants front seven.
For fantasy owners, McCoy is a must-start every week. Do not waver. As for Sproles, he is only worth starting in favorable matchups as a deep flex play, but he is too inconsistent to start every week.
