Oklahoma vs. TCU: Live Score and Highlights
TCU 37 Oklahoma 33 - Final
After conceding points in bunches early, the defense of the TCU Horned Frogs buckled down in the second half, throttling the Oklahoma Sooners offense.
Horned Frogs quarterback Trevone Boykin had a career day, throwing for 318 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on 20-of-38 passing while rushing for 75 yards on 22 carries. Running back B.J. Catalon added two scores for TCU—one by ground, the other through the air.
The Sooners countered with running back Samaje Perine, who found the endzone three times on the day. However, he had just 87 yards on 25 carries and was stopped short on a pivotal Fourth-and-1 late in the game.
But at the end of the day, the story was the TCU defense which picked off a Trevor Knight pass and took it back for a touchdown that stands as the game-winning score.
