Barcelona Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of October 6
Barcelona ease into the international break still unbeaten in the league and still to concede a goal.
It's that sort of form that wins titles, and to that end it would make no sense for any player to want to leave a group that is potentially on the verge of greatness.
With no players able to arrive thanks to FIFA's ban, it will only be departures that keep Luis Enrique occupied over the coming months.
Let's take a look at who has been linked away in the last couple of days and remember to keep checking back throughout the week for updates.

Alex Song

Liverpool could be about to scupper West Ham's plans of offering Alex Song a long term deal at Upton Park.
According to Metro, the Reds have been impressed with Song's form since his return to the Premier League and Brendan Rodgers will try and persuade Barca to end the Cameroonian's loan spell early in order that Liverpool can tie up a permanent deal in January.
The Hammers are also thought to be willing to offer Song a permanent deal at the conclusion of his loan.
Dani Alves

Dani Alves isn't going anywhere, at least for the time being.
In an interview that the players agent Dinorah Santa Ana gave to Catalunya Radio, detailed via Luca Persico of Sambafoot, she noted:
"His future is uncertain. Right now, we're not negotiating with anyone - not with Barca nor any other club.
He would like to stay here, mainly because his children are here. No one has told us that they want him to go.
"
Gerard Pique

Gerard Pique has put paid to the notion that he will be leaving Barcelona anytime soon.
According to an interview with FourFourTwo magazine via Renato Goncalves of Barca Blaugranes, Pique said:
"I love this club, for its history, its style of play and its connection to Catalunya. I love here.
I'm at the best club in the world right now. I have no intention of leaving now, or later. I've just signed a new contract and I want to retire a Blaugrana, just like Puyol did.
You never know what the future holds, but right now, I love this city, I love the people in the club, and most importantly, I love the institution. I don't see myself leaving.
"
Jordi Alba
4 of 6
Jordi Alba could be set for a move to the Premier League if rumours are correct.
According to Anthony Chapman of the Daily Express, Luis Enrique is looking to replace Alba with a more disciplined full-back.
Alba's ex-Valencia colleague Jeremy Mathieu ostensibly plays a left full-back role so would be an ideal replacement.
Alba was run ragged during the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain, and if Barca can get £25 million for their man, he may well be turning out for either Manchester United or Arsenal in the New Year.
Dani Alves

Dani Alves could well be on his way to London if the most recent reports surrounding his future are correct.
According to Anthony Chapman of the Daily Express, Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign the Brazilian ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool.
Any move could happen as early as the January transfer window as Luis Enrique looks to trim the wage bill after an extensive spending spree during this summer.
However Sport, via Vaishali Bhardwaj of Metro put an entirely different spin on Alves' situation suggesting that, in fact, Barca are about to offer the right-back an extension to his current deal.
Gerard Pique
6 of 6
Gerard Pique could be on the verge of forcing a move back to Manchester United.
According to Jack Wilson of the Daily Star, Luis Enrique and his staff are unhappy with Pique's application to work when left on the bench, as evidenced by a poor warm-up before the game against Paris Saint-Germain.
Well off of the pace in terms of form, this could be the right time for the Catalans to cash in.
