Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 5
Owning a Green Bay Packers wide receiver is fantasy football gold with Aaron Rodgers slinging the ball around, and that was definitely on full display early Thursday night against the Minnesota Vikings.
Here is a look at the final stat lines from Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, who both found the end zone.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In fact, Nelson and Cobb hauled in touchdown catches in the first quarter as the Packers set the tone early in this intra-division showdown. SportsCenter described the long Nelson catch, while ESPN Stats & Info pointed out it was business as usual for Mr. Cobb:
Clearly, both wide receivers are must starts moving forward, especially if they keep performing like they have recently. Cobb leads the league in touchdown catches after picking up two in Week 4 and the early one Thursday night, and Nelson had an NFL-leading 459 receiving yards entering the game against the Vikings. Nelson added 66 more Thursday.
The only problem for fantasy owners is Green Bay built such an early lead, especially after scoring a defensive touchdown, that it stopped throwing the ball. That clearly impacted the yardage for both Nelson and Cobb, who didn't parlay early touchdowns into huge fantasy days.

Still, this is a lethal combination of talent, and having Rodgers at quarterback means owners don’t have to worry about poor throws impacting their value. Even the early struggles from the Green Bay rushing attack provide more value for Cobb and Nelson since the Packers will theoretically throw the ball more.
These are two premier fantasy football receivers.
