Tottenham Fan Legally Changes His Name to Gary White Hart Lane
We are not sure if this shows devotion, insanity or a bit of both, but one Tottenham Hotspur fan has changed his name by deed poll to Gary White Hart Lane.
The 55-year-old was previously known as Gary Lane, but he has decided to change his middle name from Mark to White Hart in honour of his beloved Spurs' home stadium.

He told Guy Martin of the Surrey Advertiser that he changed his name because he likes "a bit of banter":
"I know a lot of people at Spurs, some of them with stalls up there. That’s what happens when you’ve been going for 40 years.
When I tell people my full name on the phone they can crack up.
But if it’s an Arsenal or Chelsea fan they can get the hump. And when I told my mum I’d changed it, she nearly fell over.
"
Gary has also renamed his house White Hart Lane, and his body is covered in Tottenham tattoos.
The Surrey Advertiser notes that some of his tattoos are in places that "only his wife Alison is able to see."
Lucky girl!
