Did Referee Lee Mason Cause Manchester United Star Ander Herrera's Rib Injury?

On Tuesday, Manchester United were dealt a blow when midfielder Ander Herrera was ruled out for "weeks" after suffering a rib injury against West Ham United.

New footage has now emerged which raises the possibility that it might well have been referee Lee Mason who caused the injury.

The footage is inconclusive but it does appear that Herrera was in some pain after bumping into Mason. 

The big summer signing from Athletic Bilbao becomes the 10th senior player at Manchester United to hit the injury list, per The Guardian.
