Dakota Royer Sets Date For Commitment

Highly touted DE/OLB prospect Dakota Royer has confirmed that he will make his commitment on the 30th of July, saying:

"I'm committing on July 30, I'm going to have a press conference at my high school at 12 noon. It will be in the lobby at my school. I wanted to have it done by the end of the month and that date worked out at the school."

Royer from Manheim PA has come to the forefront of many college writers after going one better than Jarron Gilbert and jumping from a four foot pool. Video footage of the jump can be found on Youtube.

Most scouts look at his initial burst as one of his strongest points, he's also good with his hands and very physical at the point of attack. He is an intelligent player who has a good eye for the ball.

He Battles to work free and hits the outside shoulder hard. Royer projects as a DE in college, but could work as a OLB depending on the system.

Many believe that he will commit to one of the following schools:
