NFL Odds: Week 5 Betting Lines Focus on Cardinals vs. Broncos

OddsShark.comSep 30, 2014

The Arizona Cardinals will be looking to remain undefeated when they visit the Denver Broncos Sunday as seven-point underdogs.

The 3-0 Cardinals are one of just two NFL teams, along with the 3-0 Cincinnati Bengals, to remain undefeated entering Week 5 of the NFL season.

The 2-1 Broncos are coming off a bye in Week 4 following their first defeat of the season, a 26-20 loss as 5.5-point underdogs to the Seattle Seahawks that extended Denver’s winless streak against the spread to four games.

While the Cards have struggled on the road, winning just five of their last 16 straight up, they have been a solid bet of late, posting a 7-2-1 record ATS in their last 10 games.

The 3-0 Bengals visit the 2-2 New England Patriots on Sunday night as 2.5-point underdogs according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. Cincy has been dominant at home but has produced mixed results on the road, going 4-5 SU and 3-5-1 ATS in their last nine away from Paul Brown Stadium.

Cincinnati is also winless SU in its last five visits to New England. Conversely, the Pats have been dominant at home, SU winners in their last 10, 8-2 ATS, but are coming off a humiliating 41-14 Monday night loss to Kansas City and are 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.

The 2-2 Indianapolis Colts will look to continue their winning ways when they play host to the 3-1 Baltimore Ravens as 3.5-point favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

Indianapolis goes into Sunday afternoon’s Ravens vs. Colts matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium riding high following a pair of big wins over Jacksonville and Tennessee in which they scored a combined 85 points, led by quarterback Andrew Luck’s 763 passing yards and eight touchdowns.

While the Ravens are 7-3 SU in their last 10 games, they are winless in their last five visits to Indy and are 2-8 SU in their last 10 overall against the Colts.

In other NFL betting action, the struggling 1-3 New Orleans Saints take on the 1-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 11-point home favorites.

As well, the 2-2 Pittsburgh Steelers will look to bounce back from their loss to the Bucs last weekend when they visit the winless Jacksonville Jaguars as seven-point favorites, while the 2-1 Seahawks return to action on Monday night, visiting 1-3 Washington as seven-point favorites.
