Swapping jerseys after a game—no matter how good of a game a player had or which team won—is a great way to show respect for an opponent.
After the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the New England Patriots 41-14 Monday night, running backs Jamaal Charles (Chiefs) and Stevan Ridley (Patriots) exchanged jerseys on the field. Charles put up 108 total yards and three touchdowns in the game, and Ridley had only 28 yards on five carries.
Regardless of the numbers, each player has respect for the other's game. That respect led to a very cool moment after Monday night's game.
