Yes there are plenty of PSG stars that would add a lot to the Blaugrana squad, but it is Marquinhos that Barcelona would love to sign more than anyone else. Here is why.

To begin with, Barcelona’s defense has been questionable at best over the last few years. Though the back line now looks to be much stronger, adding the likes of Marquinhos would only prove to improve the defense further.

The young Brazilian has already seen plenty of playing time for PSG this season and has looked incredible. His ability to make strong tackles and read the game causes a lot of problems for opponents, and he is more than capable at playing with the ball at his feet.

Marquinhos is exactly the type of defender that would thrive in Barcelona’s system, which is exactly why last summer was full of rumors linking the Brazilian with a move to the Camp Nou.

To add to his pure defensive ability, Marquinhos would also provide strength looking to the future due to his age. At 20 years old, he is one of the best center-backs in his age group and will only get better as time goes by.

The Brazilian would add an immediate impact at the Camp Nou as well as promising future success. He is the total package and exactly the type of player that Barcelona would love to sign.

While signing Marquinhos is impossible at this point due to Barcelona’s transfer ban, fans may still be hoping that he could one day put on the Blaugrana shirt. Whether or not the rumors were true last summer, it is clear that Marquinhos would be a massive hit in Catalonia, and maybe he will be one day.
