Odom's Worth?The Lakers and Heat Debate.

Lamar Odom played well in the nba finals and his ability to matchup with rashard lewis on defense was key in the lakers winning the title, odom is in his 11th season and has put up good numbers 15ppg 9rpg and 4apg for his career again good numbers from a player that is often called allstar caliber but never called allstar, odom is a very good player that has had some flashes of greatness but just flashes a 30 point 12 rebound game will be followed by a 30 point 12 rebound week throw in 2-3 brain freezes and that's lamar odom, when he's good he is special to watch and when he is bad it is painful to watch .......but the lakers are trying to resign odom and add him to kobe,gasol,artest and company making the lakers the favorites to repeat , the lakers offer odom a 4 year 36 million per .........and that's not good enough plus odom has been talking to heat and mavs management knowing that both teams can only offer the mid level exception which means pulling an ariza, my guess is the lakers will not pay the 10 million per that odom is looking for and will stand by their offer of 9 million per and if a deal can't be reached they will try to do a sign and trade to get some value for odom ........look I agree odom is very versatile player and can be a matchup nightmare for opposing teams but his jekyll has alot of hyde, meaning the lakers are the perfect team for odom because with kobe,gasol and now artest the lakers have the star power to allow odom to play his all around game and not feel the pressure of having to put up big offensive numbers they also have enough fire power to survive when odom has one of his MIA (missing in action) games, the bottom line is if it's really all about titles LO will be back but if he needs more money then his time as a laker is over. Lamar Odom is a great guy and a good teammate but he and his agent  are bidding their way out of LA which is a lose lose for both side's .........note to odom the days of overpaying players that are not superstars is coming to an end, and your not a superstar or an allstar but you play with a superstar and an allstar and that allows you to play pressure free, know your role and more important know your worth.
