Dolphins vs. Kolkata Knight Riders, CLT20: Highlights, Scorecard and Report
Kolkata Knight Riders made it four wins from four in the Champions League T20 group stages as they beat Dolphins in convincing fashion by 36 runs in Hyderabad on Monday.
Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and opted to bat first, a marked change from the previous three matches in which they had bowled first.

However, the change seemed to make little difference as Kolkata piled on the runs against the as-yet winless Dolphins.
The South African side were condemned to the bottom of the group even before Monday's encounter in Hyderabad, but there was to be no consolation win.
While they managed to claim the wickets of Gambhir and Jacques Kallis in the opening five overs, those were to be the only dismissals of the innings.
Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey put on a partnership of 153 to take the IPL champions to a strong total of 187 and break a tournament record, per Cricbuzz:
"Uthappa and Pandey help @KKRiders post 187 in their 20 overs with a 153-run stand, which is now the highest in @clt20 for any wkt #KKRvsDol

In response, Dolphins lost early wickets with the departures of Cameron Delport and Cody Chetty in the first two overs.

As cricket writer Freddie Wilde points out, it looked set to be something of a drubbing for the South African side to finish off a poor tournament:
Kolkata's assistant coach Vijay Dahiya had insisted before the match that his side were not taking their opposition lightly, per NDTV Sports:
"Everyday is a new day and I think you don't want to make even that sort of a mistake by thinking that it is going to be a cakewalk. We are playing good cricket and you have to give respect to the opposition. It is a T20 game and you cannot take anyone lightly ever.
"
Indeed, it was a professional display. Dolphins rallied slightly from their early loss of wickets but could get nowhere near the required target and lost several wickets late on to finish on 151-8.
Thus a clean sweep of wins for Kolkata in the group stages, and they will head into the semi-finals with a great deal of confidence.
