Terrance Williams, Tony Romo's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 4

The Dallas Cowboys offense got off to a fantastic start against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4, with much of the credit going to quarterback Tony Romo and second-year wideout Terrance Williams.

Romo completed 17 of 22 passes for two touchdowns in an impressive first-half performance. He did well to spread the ball around, finding eight different Cowboys for receptions in two quarters of play.

New Orleans' obvious road woes aside, this was a stunning performance from both Romo and Williams, who is quickly establishing himself as one of the better second-fiddle wideouts in the league.

He already has four touchdowns on the young season, including two in the first half against the Saints. Williams had just five in all of 2013.

Fantasy football owners should be encouraged by these early performances, but it's unlikely his robust totals will last. Dez Bryant is still the top dog in the Cowboys wide receiver corps, and Williams only saw a total of six targets from Week 2 to Week 3, per ESPN.com.

Still, he's reeling in an impressive percentage of those looks and until he cools off, he should be immediately considered in the flex or WR2 spots. Bryant's presence is only helping Williams devour secondaries at this point, per ESPNDallas.com's Tim MacMahon:

Romo looks to have put his abysmal Week 1 performance against the San Francisco 49ers completely behind him, but expectations should still be tempered moving forward.

He's a possible QB1 as long as the 'Boys offense continues to fire on all cylinders. There's no excuse for him to regress with the talent surrounding him. Running back DeMarco Murray's ability to get into the flow of the game quickly opens up the field for Romo, Williams and the rest of the Cowboys passing attack. The shaky defense could force Dallas into more than its fair share of shootouts this season, which will be a welcome sight for fantasy owners relying on this offense.
