Chris Johnson, Chris Ivory's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 4
Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory each had surprisingly strong performances against the solid Detroit Lions defense, but the player you want in fantasy football might not be the one you would think.
The two running backs have been splitting carries this season, with Johnson getting slightly more work. Johnson had a decent showing from a fantasy perspective in Week 4, but it was clear which one was getting the bulk of touches in the game:
| Chris Johnson | 6 | 44 | 1 | 2 | 17 | 2 |
| Chris Ivory | 17 | 84 | 0 | 2 | 16 | 6 |

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Of Johnson's 44 rushing yards, 35 came on one play that saw him get into the end zone in a big moment, as described by Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News:
Jeff Capellini of CBS New York was impressed with the speed on display:
This gave him nine quick fantasy points in standard leagues, but this type of play is not something you can count on a weekly basis. This is especially true with his workload starting to decrease in the offense.
Ivory could not get into the end zone, but he was the workhorse for the Jets, getting nine carries on the first drive and remaining a top option throughout the game. Although he was not able to break too many long rushes, he fights for every yard, which is something the coaching staff seemingly appreciates.
This makes it no surprise he was also responsible for the squad's only rushing attempt inside the opposing 10-yard line.
Add in the fact Ivory was targeted often in the passing game, and it is clear Ivory is ready to have a much bigger role in the future. If you could have one of them on your fantasy team, it is the former New Orleans Saints player.
While Johnson actually outscored his counterpart in most fantasy leagues, this might simply be a good time to sell high.
