Bishop Sankey, Shonn Greene's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 4

Andrew GouldSep 28, 2014

The Tennessee Titans didn't get much of a chance to establish the run game, but rookie Bishop Sankey scored his first career touchdown on Sunday.

By jumping out to a 14-0 lead, the Indianapolis Colts nullified the run game, which the Titans needed without Jake Locker. While Sankey and Shonn Greene combined for nine carries, the first-year running back found the end zone and made some catches during a solid outing.

Sankey made his mark with the game out of hand, but it counts all the same in fantasy. Footballguys.com's Sigmund Bloom anticipates his performance earning him a closer look against the Cleveland Browns next week.

Given his limited workload, Sankey is at best a flex play next weekend. If he keeps getting the ball, he'll become a tremendous Week 6 play against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Seeing Sankey score on a two-yard run buries any relevancy Greene held in standard formats. If he can't even vulture touchdowns, the veteran won't gain nearly enough yardage to remain relevant. He's not worth owning in 10- or 12-team leagues.
