It truly is a running back by committee situation for the Baltimore Ravens, but Lorenzo Taliaferro could be in line for a few more looks than the other backs on the depth chart.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bernard Pierce and Justin Forsett will both lobby for carries throughout the year until one proves to be the most consistent runner. For now, owning Taliaferro is a good idea.
He was very good in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns, picking up 91 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. He found the end zone again in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers.
Here's how he did overall against Carolina:

Taliaferro benefitted for a game-plan that saw Pierce fail to see a carry despite being active for Week 4, via ESPN.com.
The strength of the passing game in Baltimore will help give the Ravens running backs opportunities to be successful. With the likes of Joe Flacco stretching the field to Steve Smith, Torrey Smith and Owen Daniels, running lanes will open up the middle for Taliaferro and others to pound the ball inside.
Because defenses have to respect the passing game, these running backs can find success.
While Taliaferro is definitely someone to own in fantasy, it might not be smart to start him week after week. He's definitely a guy to monitor matchups with, and there's really no telling if he'll get more carries than Pierce or Forsett in any given week.
For now, he's on his way to establishing some sort of consistency—making him no more than a bye-week replacement or spot-starter. With another week of strong numbers, he could find even more time in your active fantasy lineup.
