Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 4
There is no word in the English language that fantasy owners dread more than "decoy." As in, Boy, it sure looks like the Detroit Lions are using Calvin Johnson as a decoy today.
Sadly, that sentence was relevant on Sunday, as a clearly hobbled Megatron seemed to be on the field for no other reason than to give the New York Jets secondary another body to cover. Not surprisingly, his production suffered.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For fantasy owners expecting a huge day from the superstar against one of the league's worst pass defenses, well, it sure was looking like it would be a rough afternoon. And now the concern for both the Lions and Megatron owners will be just how serious his ankle injury is.

Matthew Stafford owners should feel a certain sense of relief about his performance, however. Even with his top target at far less than 100 percent, Stafford still had a big afternoon.

The one thing the Lions don't lack is weapons on offense, and that was obvious on Sunday, with Eric Ebron and Jeremy Ross each catching touchdown passes while Golden Tate went for over 100 yards. Add in the backfield of Joique Bell and Reggie Bush and Stafford is always going to have weapons to utilize, even without Megatron.
And thus, he's a virtual lock to be a QB1 on a weekly basis.
