Check out all the action of America's stars playing abroad in this week's USMNT Watch.

The English Premier League Boys

Jozy Altidore scored for Sunderland in midweek League Cup action but was an unused substitute for the Black Cats in their 0-0 draw with Swansea this weekend. Here is a GIF of Altidore's goal via socceroverthere.com.

Howard and Everton salvaged a 1-1 draw with crosstown rival Liverpool as Phil Jagielka equalized in the 90th minute with a terrific strike. After being widely lambasted for his performance last week, Howard finished as Everton's highest-rated player against Liverpool.

It was another rough weekend for Guzan and Aston Villa. After losing to Arsenal 3-0 last weekend, they lost by the same scoreline Saturday—this time to Chelsea. Guzan finished as Villa's highest-rated player.

Stoke takes on Newcastle on Monday. Geoff Cameron has not played for Stoke since undergoing groin surgery earlier this month.

Ze Germans

Timmy Chandler started at right-back in Eintracht Frankfurt's 2-1 win over Hamburger SV. Julian Green did not dress for Hamburg after picking up a rib injury earlier this week.

Gyau made his Bundesliga debut midweek for Borussia Dortmund but did not get off the bench in their match this weekend.

Fabian Johnson was not part of the squad for Borussia Monchengladbach as they took on Paderborn. Via Twitter, the club reported that Johnson had a problem with his Achilles tendon.

John Anthony Brooks was not in the squad for Hertha Berlin as they lost to Augsburg 1-0.

In Bundesliga 2, Alfredo Morales went the distance for Ingolstadt in their 1-0 win over Karlshure.

Bobby Wood was an unused substitute for 1860 Munich this weekend.

Terrence Boyd (RB Leipzig) remains out injured.

Eric Lichaj was an unused substitute for Nottingham Forest this weekend. The same was true for Bolton's Tim Ream.
