Manchester United Fans' 'Come Home Ronaldo' Plane Flies over Real Madrid Match

Manchester United fans were reported to be planning a plane flyover during Real Madrid's weekend match urging Cristiano Ronaldo to come home. And sure enough, the banner imploring him to return was spotted on television footage.

Early on in Madrid's match at Villarreal, the plane made its journey.

Ronaldo was not spotted immediately walking off the pitch and demanding his move to Old Trafford, however.

A possible twist emerged soon after when Dermot Corrigan reported that the event could become a police matter:
