Andre Williams, Rashad Jennings' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 4

Joseph ZuckerSep 25, 2014

Those fantasy football owners who started Rashad Jennings this week must wonder how the veteran running back didn't have a monster night despite the New York Giants dropping 45 points on the Washington Redskins.

On the other hand, those owners who started Andre Williams are doing cartwheels.

You can see their respective stats below.

You shouldn't put too much worth into this game from Williams' perspective. At the moment, he's available in 62.5 percent of fantasy leagues on NFL.com. Add him if you so choose, but don't expect too many more games like this in the future.

Jennings remains the top running back in the Giants offense. He may have been overshadowed by Williams on Thursday, but don't forget Jennings is one week removed from rushing for 176 yards and a touchdown against the Houston Texans.

If anything, the fact that New York used him less in the offense is a positive rather than a negative, as he'll remain fresher in the weeks ahead.
