Bengals' Devon Still Gives His Daughter Pep Talk Before Her Cancer Surgery

Before his four-year-old daughter, Leah, went in for surgery for pediatric cancer Thursday, Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still gave her a quick pep talk in a touching moment.

Update from Friday, Sept. 26

Devon Still shared this photo on Instagram, thanking the Philadelphia Eagles for sending gifts and flowers to his recovering daughter, Leah.

The caption read, "Thanks to Chip Kelly and the Eagles for sending these surprise gifts and flowers to my daughter."

He also sought to clarify Leah's condition to those following the story:

Still announced on Instagram that the doctors were able to remove the entire tumor:

After a 5hr 50min surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from...best news I've received in a long time #PrayForLeah #GodIsGood #ThanksForYourSupport

Leah was diagnosed with pediatric cancer back in June. There has been an overwhelming amount of support for her from fans and teams around the league in recent months.

The elder Still may be a bit nervous about the surgery, but he was able to put on a brave face for his daughter.
