It's Offical: Jarret Jack Is The Newest Additon to The Toronto Raptors

So now that Jarrett Jack is a Raptor the speculation can stop. Indiana will not be matching the offer sheet the Raptors have presented.

Here is a small side note to consider. Earl Watson will be signing with Indiana as early as tomorrow.

Are you meaning to tell me that Indiana has no intentions of resigning Jack? That they feel that Earl Watson (the ultimate backup pg) would better suit the needs of the team now? Or possibly that T.J Ford is going to be the starter this year?

I am extremely happy that Jack will be in the Newest Raptor I have lobbied for him on B|R for some time now. So now the question is asked whom else do the Raptors need now?

Who would you sign? What do you do with Carlos Delfino? If you were BC what would your next move be?

That aside Jack is an excellent young combo guard. He brings more of a defensive presence to the SG position and is can be an excellent PG. I would have to assess that for the money that the Raptors are paying him he should be starting. Wouldn’t you agree?

I am confident that Jack’s addition to the Raptors will further raise the talent level of this squad and continue to solidify Colangelo’s penchant for signing players that can play the style that this team is trying to employ. So I believe it is safe to say that one upside of this recession is that the Raptors can get more talent at bargain prices. This is only beginning let’s see what else the off-season has to offer.
