KKR polished off the total with two balls to spare to record their third consecutive victory in Group A.
Scorchers captain Adam Voges batted throughout their innings in making an unbeaten 71, but he lacked support after a 68-run opening partnership in nine overs with Craig Simmons.
Only keeper Sam Whiteman (21) and Yasir Arafat (10) got into double figures, with spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Sunil Narine taking 3-24 and 4-31 respectively.

The two-time Indian Premier League champions stuttered in their chase, making 37-3 in the powerplay and were behind the run rate when they slipped to 87-5 in the 15th over.
However, Yusuf Pathan (21) and Yadav added 38 runs in 20 balls for the sixth wicket before Yadav hit Nathan Coulter-Nile for consecutive sixes in the penultimate over that went for 19.
Five were needed off the final over. Andre Russell bowled Yasir Arafat with the first delivery, but Piyush Chawla found the boundary with the fourth ball.
It took KKR's unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions.
