2. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Gronk is averaging just 38.7 yards through three games, but he has scored twice. Eventually he’s going to turn in a performance that will merit his draft position. Perhaps as soon as this week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
3. Martellus Bennett, Chicago Bears
Bennett is averaging 53.7 yards and 1.3 touchdowns. He has scored in all three games. Bennett faces the Green Bay Packers.
4. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Olsen is averaging 74.7 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. He should remain hot against the Baltimore Ravens.
5. Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers
Gates came back to Earth last week but is still averaging 61.7 yards and a touchdown per game. He should shine against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have allowed 306 yards and 2.7 touchdowns per game.
Four of their eight passing touchdowns allowed went to tight ends.
6. Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans
Walker is averaging 77.7 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. He faces the Indianapolis Colts.
7. Niles Paul, Washington Redskins
Paul is averaging 84.3 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. He’s been heavily involved in the offense, which should continue this week against the New York Giants.
8. Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles
Ertz is averaging 59 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. He was quiet last week against the Washington Redskins, but he should be back in the mix against the San Francisco 49ers.
9. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Witten has just 95 yards through three games, but he’s due to break out against the New Orleans Saints. Last year, Witten averaged 80.8 yards at home and 25.6 yards on the road. Look for him to get back on track.
10. Larry Donnell, New York Giants
Donnell is averaging 60.7 yards and 0.3 touchdowns. He’ll face the Redskins this week.
