2014 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings: Week 4
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2014 Week 4 fantasy football quarterback rankings.
1. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees is averaging 287.7 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game. He has yet to have a monster game. That could change against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Boys have allowed 250.3 yards and a pair of touchdowns per game to Colin Kaepernick, Jake Locker and Austin Davis. Brees is obviously a couple of notches ahead of that trio.
2. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
Matty Ice is averaging 321.7 yards and 2.3 touchdowns per game. The Minnesota Vikings have improved defensively, but look for Ryan and Julio Jones to have a big day.
3. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles
Foles is averaging 326 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Eagles offense continues to shine. He faces the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have already allowed seven passing touchdowns.
4. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Rivers is averaging 259.3 yards and a pair of touchdown passes. He should remain hot against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have allowed 306 yards and 2.7 touchdowns per game.
5. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts
Luck is averaging 304 yards and three touchdowns per game. He has added 54 yards and a score with his feet.
He struggled last year against the Tennessee Titans. Look for that to change this year as Luck takes another step forward into elite quarterback territory.
6. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
Stafford is averaging 294.3 yards and a touchdown per game. He faces the New York Jets. The Jets have allowed seven passing touchdowns.
7. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears
Cutler is averaging 250 yards per game but has thrown eight touchdowns through three games. He should put up big numbers in a shootout with the Packers.
8. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Rodgers is averaging 232.3 yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game, but he had 346 yards and three touchdowns against the New York Jets.
That leaves a pair of disappointing games against the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions. He should be more effective against the Chicago Bears.
9. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Romo is averaging 224.7 yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game. He faces the Saints in what should be a shootout. The Saints have allowed 278.3 passing yards per game.
10. Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins
Cousins is averaging 338.5 yards and 2.5 touchdowns since taking over for Robert Griffin III. He faces the New York Giants, who have allowed 258.3 passing yards per game.
