Are Diego Forlan,Sergio Aguero Suitable Replacements For Emmanuel Adebayor?
Arsene Wenger insists he does not need to replace Emmanuel Adebayor; the Frenchmen believes he has enough striker power in his squad to challenge the Premier League. Fair enough,Arsenal do boast a frontline that holds the likes of Robin van Persie,Eduardo Da Silva, Nicklas Bendtner and Andrei Asharvin.
However Adebayor's departure means the Gunners lack serious aireal threat, speed and balance. In my books Arsenal need a replacement.
Aletico Madrid currently hold to sensastional strikers in Uruguayan Diego Forlan and Argentilian Sergio Aguero. Both are unclear whether they will still be at the Vincente Calderon in 2009/2010. The pair have been linked to the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea. But with Arsenal having money to spend after the Adebayor transfer, why not look at these two.

Diego Forlan may be 30 which is incredibly old in Arsenal standards, but the Uruguayan can finish and is blessed with speed, balance and stamina. The former United man has been the recipent of the European Golden Boot, and La Liga Pichichi Trophy. This season alone Forlan successfully netted 32 goals in 33 matches.
Sergio Aguero, the young Argentilian striker who has speed, balance and a fierce left foot. The Argetilian may be similar to Robin van Persie but he would still become a great addition to the team. At 21 Aguero still has a huge future and under the guidance of Arsene Wenger he could no doubt be come the worlds best striker.
Arsenal could attempt to sign both strikers by offering Emmanuel Eboue, Philippe Senderos, and Carlos Vela on loan plus a fee around 10 million pounds. Although both seem like unlikely options for Arsenal, it does not hurt to suggest.
