The 2014 Ryder Cup teams are full of interesting characters. Some of these characters bear striking resemblances to other characters.
From Muppets to Munsters to cartoon characters to iconic actors, members of Team USA and Team Europe bear resemblances to some interesting individuals.

Tom Watson: Alfred E. Neuman

Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson has a look-alike of his own.
Captain Watson, with his weathered visage, looks like an aged Alfred E. Neuman. In his younger years, Watson was the spitting image of the face of MAD Magazine.
Rory McIlroy: The Grinch

While he's become less Grinch-like in appearance with each passing year on tour, Rory McIlroy still can look quite a bit like the green hater-of-Christmas. Specifically, the Ulsterman strongly resembles Jim Carrey in the live-action film.
McIlroy also has a dog head cover, which is reminiscent of the Grinch's canine companion, Max.
Ian Poulter: Beaker

Proud peacock of the English side, Ian Poulter not only routinely acts like a Muppet; he also looks like one. The Englishman looks quite a bit like Beaker.
Much of Poulter's ramblings, particularly in the social media sphere, don't amount to much more than Bunsen Honeydew's sidekick's traditional "meep, meep, meep."

Patrick Reed: Bunsen Honeydew

Beaker's running mate, Bunsen Honeydew, will also be represented at this year's Ryder Cup in the form of Patrick Reed.
Reed looks quite similar to the bespectacled founder of Muppet Labs, as both share the same round head. Reed is a bit more big-headed in other ways, however.
Keegan Bradley: Eddie Munster

Ryder Cup dynamo Keegan Bradley has a little of the Eddie Munster in him, don't you think?
The werewolf child of Herman and Lily Munster, Eddie and Keegan share the same wide-eyed look and a similar hairline.
And while we didn't see a lot of Munster's werewolf nature in The Munsters, Keegan Bradley is sure to channel the legendary man-beast with his celebrations at Gleneagles.
Zach Johnson: Joaquin Phoenix

I'm not entirely convinced that Zach Johnson isn't Joaquin Phoenix. There was a brief moment in time during Phoenix's Gladiator era when the two looked virtually identical.
Johnson appears to share a similar scar to that of Phoenix on his upper lip as well.
Have they ever been spotted in the same place at the same time?
Webb Simpson: Owen Wilson

Webb Simpson is a dead ringer for Wedding Crashers star Owen Wilson.
In fact, if Simpson were to break his nose and move from Georgia to California, he and Wilson would be virtually identical.
While the two are of similar bodies, they likely are of very different minds. Conservative Southern Christians and Hollywood-based actors aren't generally the best of friends.
Rickie Fowler: Zac Efron

Rickie Fowler looked like Zac Efron when they both had Bieber hair. He looks like Efron now that they both have something resembling a proper haircut.
The High School Musical star and the Murrieta, California, native seem to have an agreement they'll groom themselves similarly, although Efron is yet to be seen with "USA" carved in the side of his head.
