Yevhen Konoplyanka Attracting Rival Bids
1 of 2
Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with Ukraine and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Yevhen Konoplyanka for some time. However, according to Tuttosport (h/t talkSPORT), Fiorentina have now joined the race.
Konoplyanka would be an excellent addition to Spurs' stable of attacking wide players and would be a major upgrade over Aaron Lennon.
Lennon was a late substitute in the defeat to West Brom but had little impact. Konoplyanka would provide dynamism and a direct approach that would complement Spurs' attack.
If they can beat Fiorentina and Liverpool to the signing, Tottenham will significantly improve their attack.
Moussa Dembele Exit on the Cards?
2 of 2
According to the Daily Mirror (h/t the Enfield Independent), Everton are ready to move for Spurs midfielder Moussa Dembele.
The Belgian international has struggled to find his best form over the last 18 months and gave an indifferent display in Tottenham's most recent match against West Brom.
If Everton were to offer around the £15 million Spurs paid Fulham for Dembele in 2012, they would likely take the deal.
Dembele's persistent fitness issues have been the root of his struggles at Spurs, and they don't appear to be going away. Moving Dembele on and shifting resources in another direction would be best for Tottenham now.
