Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
For the next several weeks, Lamar Miller will be a legitimate fantasy starter.
The third-year back burned owners who were expecting him to take advantage of a featured role in 2013, but he's clearly ready to make amends.
With Knowshon Moreno sidelined by a dislocated elbow, Miller got the bulk of the touches for the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, turning in a wonderfully efficient performance. Here's a look at the final numbers for him and backup Daniel Thomas:

Miller's day could have been even bigger too. The Dolphins trailed for the entire second half, and Ryan Tannehill ended up throwing the ball 43 times. Pro Football Focus' Mike Clay put it simply:
| Lamar Miller | 15 | 108 | 0 | 4 | 24 | 0 |
| Daniel Thomas | 2 | 15 | 0 | 1 | 21 | 0 |
For as long as Moreno is out—he's targeting an optimistic Week 6 return—Miller is a must-start option in most leagues. He's going to get a ton of touches, and he's now averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
As for Thomas, he's nothing more than waiver-wire fodder, someone to take a look at if Miller suffers an injury.
