Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
Dallas Cowboys wide receivers Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams are trending in very different fantasy directions after the team’s 34-31 victory over the St. Louis Rams.
Bryant has continued to prove his spot as the top receiver on the team and is the most reliable pass-catcher downfield. With the big-play explosiveness that Williams has not shown this season, Bryant has been Romo’s favorite target.
Williams continues to be feast or famine in fantasy, though. Here’s how the receiving numbers shook out on Sunday:

While both players scored a touchdown, Bryant proved to be a main cog in the passing attack once again. After only racking up four receptions against San Francisco in Week 1, Bryant caught 10 passes in Week 2 and was the top target again on Sunday.
Bryant has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but was heavily involved Sunday.
| Dez Bryant | 7 | 6 | 89 | 1 |
| Jason Witten | 5 | 4 | 49 | 0 |
| Terrance Williams | 3 | 2 | 32 | 1 |
| DeMarco Murray | 4 | 4 | 31 | 0 |
| Cole Beasley | 2 | 1 | 9 | 0 |
| Gavin Escobar | 1 | 1 | 7 | 0 |
On the other hand, Williams is completely dependent on touchdowns to remain relevant in fantasy. He caught four passes in Week 1 and added a touchdown, but only caught the ball twice in Week 2. For Williams, it is boom or bust until he proves he can be more consistent.

Bryant is a must-start in every format of fantasy leagues. He will remain the top target in Dallas' offense as the franchise moves forward. As for Williams, fantasy owners should be watching for ideal matchups and starting him as a FLEX during games against lackluster secondaries.
In Week 4, the Cowboys play the New Orleans Saints. With Drew Brees leading a high-powered offense and New Orleans lacking an elite defensive unit, fantasy owners should start Bryant as a WR1 and Williams as a FLEX.
