Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
Last week, Marques Colston failed to catch a pass for the first time in 87 games. This week, he not only managed to actually catch a pass but he also snagged a touchdown reception while he was at it.
Not a bad way to answer for a poor week, as Colston finished with two receptions for 25 yards and the score on five targets. Certainly not his best week by a long shot—his low reception and target totals are worrying—but the touchdown salvaged his afternoon from a fantasy perspective.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He wasn't the only New Orleans Saints receiver to have a bounce-back week, as Brandin Cooks finished with eight receptions for 74 yards on 10 targets after the Browns held him to three receptions for 17 yards last Sunday.
Still, both Saints receivers remain tricky players to evaluate on a weekly basis. Drew Brees continues to spread the ball around to a variety of players in the passing game, and the game plan only seems to force-feed the ball to Jimmy Graham.
In turn, Colston and Cooks remain weekly flex considerations but neither is an automatic starter. Generally, one of them should post pretty solid numbers every week. The difficult part will continue to be determining which will do so during which week.
Given his higher number of receptions and targets, Cooks is the safer play. But on weeks when Colston reaches the end zone, he'll be the more valuable commodity.
