Eddie Royal, Keenan Allen's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
A San Diego Chargers wide receiver caught a pair of touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Unfortunately for Keenan Allen's fantasy owners, it's not the fantasy mainstay they hoped to see in the end zone.

Eddie Royal took two of his three catches to the house for scores, his first touchdowns of the 2014 season. Allen, meanwhile, still holds a goose-egg in that column after another uneventful afternoon.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Allen's status stood in doubt heading into Week 3, but the sophomore suited up, hurting his fantasy managers more in the process. Before panicking, consider the circumstances. Pro Football Focus' Mike Clay laid out the reasons for Allen's quiet Sunday:
| Keenan Allen | 2 | 2 | 17 | 0 |
| Eddie Royal | 4 | 6 | 42 | 2 |
This also comes a week after he caught five passes against "just a normal guy" Richard Sherman. Keep trusting Allen, and look to buy low if the opportunity presents itself.
Before rushing to add Royal, consider that he teased everyone with a phenomenal start last season, delivering five touchdowns in the opening two games. He provided three more going forward, and even that was more than enough to set a personal best.
A 5'10" wideout is not a trustworthy bet to keep scoring touchdowns. It'd be a different story if he had more receptions to match, but he has amassed just 11 grabs on the season.
