FIFA 15: Bayern Munich and Other Clubs Dominating Top of Player Ratings

If you're just cutting your teeth on FIFA 15 and you're looking for a top-notch club to play with, look no further than the German powerhouse Bayern Munich. If you're an expert and you're looking to take a scrub club up against the the most talented squad, you might want to try your hand against them.

Led by Arjen Robben, who is rated a 90 overall, Bayern Munich has 11 of the top-50 highest-rated players in the game. That's pretty insane.

Along with Robben on the squad is the game's highest-rated goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer. He also has a sparkling 90 overall rating. As balanced as Bayern Munich is, the top-two highest-rated players don't play for the Bundesliga champions.

Cover athlete Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona is the highest-rated player with a 93 overall. Just behind him is Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at 92.

In this year's game, the goalkeeper logic, physics and animations were redone. The developers consulted with and motion-captured Team USA and Everton star Tim Howard in the process.

From the EA Access and demo versions, you can see the updates almost immediately. These improvements in gameplay make the men in net even more important now than they were before.

Neuer is the highest-rated keeper. Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois is second on the list with an 86. The Blues are incredibly deep at the position as they also have Petr Cech on the roster and he is rated just below Courtois with an 85 overall.

Cech and Hugo Lloris of Tottenham Hotspur are level in ratings, while Real Madrid's Iker Casillas is the last goalkeeper amongst the top-50 rated players in the game.

Howard is one of the top-20 highest-rated goalkeepers with an 82.

Things could change as the Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga get deeper into their seasons, but as of now, the initial ratings should give fans a comprehensive look into which players have the requisite skills in the game.
