10 Transfers No-One Is Talking About from 2014 Summer Window

Here are 10 transfers which slipped under the radar during the kerfuffle of the 2014 summer transfer window.

The transfers will be subjectively ranked on how underrated the transfer was and the player's quality. 

Here are the key points to make the list:

10. Miguel Angel Moya

Getafe to Atletico Madrid: €3/£2.4 million

The reason why most people did not pay attention to Atleti signing Miguel Angel Moya, 30, was that the Spaniard being pencilled in as a backup. 

He lacked the CV to replace Thibaut Courtois, a world-class goalkeeper who spent three seasons on loan from Chelsea.

Once Atleti made Jan Oblak the most expensive goalkeeper in La Liga history (€16/£12.8 million), Moya was an afterthought. 

Moya is now Atleti's No. 1 and his elite saves, specifically in a 2-1 win over Real Madrid, will keep Oblak on the sidelines.

9. Lindsay Rose

Valenciennes to Lyon: €1.5/£1.2 million

Bakary Kone, Lindsay Rose and Samuel Umtiti are all competing for the two centre-back positions.

None of them are bona fide starters which was evident when defensive midfielder Maxime Gonalons slotted in at centre-back in Lyon's 2-1 defeat to Metz.

Rose, 22, has so much promise yet so little fanfare. 

The Frenchman is an elegant passer from the back, he doesn't seem to be rushed and is constantly improving.

8. Kevin Vogt

Augsburg to Koln: €1.8/£1.4 million       

Kevin Vogt, 22, is an underrated German footballer who can emulate Christoph Kramer's success. 

Last November, Kramer was relatively obscure but had shown immense promise.

Nine months later, he had a bittersweet FIFA World Cup final and has the talent to be the future of Germany's midfield. 

Vogt, 6'4" and 187 pounds, provides a big physical presence and is technically excellent. 

He can charge past opposing players and launch counter-attacks. 

A red flag on Vogt is his injury record, which has hindered him from making substantial strides in his career.

7. Eric Dier

Sporting Lisbon to Tottenham Hotspur: €5/£4 million

Eric Dier, 20, is second (4.3) to Nathaniel Clyne (4.5) in highest tackles per game for English footballers only in the Premier League this season. 

Dier can play centre-back and right-back.

Another advantage he has over his fellow Englishmen is that he has played overseas in Sporting, so his adaptability and mental toughness is higher.

Sporting were seething about his departure because they viewed him as a cash cow and he left at a cut price, per Ian Parkes at The Telegraph.

Importantly for Dier, he has arrived in a beneficial situation at Spurs, unlike former Sporting talent Joseph Enakarhire.

He chased the money in Dynamo Moscow, was left discontented, and his career never recovered.

6. Jeremy Menez

Paris Saint-Germain to AC Milan: Free Transfer.

Jeremy Menez, 27, so far has lived up to his promise.

"Mr [Filippo] Inzaghi is in charge for next season and he has a big will to win with Milan," Menez said, per Sky Sports. "To supporters I assure you I'll give everything on the pitch."

Menez has had attitude issues, disciplinary problems and productivity that never justified the distraction he brought to the dressing room. 

As every year passed, the less leeway the Frenchman was afforded.

Right now for Milan, he seems to be finally realising his potential. 

He was outstanding in Milan's 3-1 win over Lazio and played probably the greatest game of his career in a 5-4 win over Parma. 

He is scoring goals (three in two Serie A games), is taking the ball past players and is creating his own shots.

In league play, he has a three-goal advantage over Mario Balotelli, who has yet to score for Liverpool in the Premier League.

Milan are once again thanking the Bosman ruling.

5. Roman Burki

Grasshopper Club Zurich to Freiburg: €1.8/£1.4 million 

Roman Burki, 23, has eye-opening traits.

The Swiss footballer is of prototypical goalkeeping height (6'2"), has lightning-quick reflexes and is a passing outlet from the back (averages 50 passes per game). 

He possesses the upside to develop into an elite goalkeeper.

4. Mauro Zarate

Velez Sarsfield to West Ham United: Free Transfer

The career of Mauro Zarate, 27, is Dani-like. 

Dani, a highly-rated Portuguese youth international, never reached the heights he was expected to scale.

The same can be said about Zarate, who scored Argentina's winning goal against the Czech Republic at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. 

Going back to boyhood club Velez Sarsfield meant Zarate went mainly undetected when he signed for West Ham. 

Zarate is technically flawless, he has vision, and he can develop a lethal combination with Enner Valencia at West Ham.

Valencia will offer pace and directness while Zarate has guile and can unlock opposing defences with a key pass.

3. Abdul Rahman Baba

Greuther Furth to Augsburg: €2.5/£2 million

Abdul Rahman Baba, 20, is on course for a breakout season.

The Ghanaian has raced out of the blocks, completing 13 tackles and intercepting 12 passes in his opening three Bundesliga games. 

He will be to Augsburg what Ricardo Rodriguez is to Wolfsburg.

Baba completely dominates the left flank with his defensive productivity and his raiding runs. 

2. Kingsley Coman

Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus: Free Transfer

Kingsley Coman, 18, is so talented that it was bizarre Paris Saint-Germain could not convince him to extend his contract.

It shows you how disillusioned the Frenchman was at PSG.

"I think at Paris Saint-Germain, the young players are shoved to one side a little," Coman said, per CanalPlus (h/t Ben Gladwell at ESPN FC).

"I never imagined I would be welcomed the way I have been [at Juve], considering I'm not a big name."

1. Andre Hahn

Augsburg to Borussia Monchengladbach: €2.25/£1.78 million

It is unfortunate that Andre Hahn, 24, does not receive the recognition he deserves. 

If the German was as hyped as English footballers are, he would be commanding a big-money salary.

But the Bundesliga's inability to market itself Kim Kardashian-style like the Premier League is why a complete footballer like Hahn is still a no-namer to casual footballing fans. 

Hahn is a winger who averages 6.3 headers won per game.

He is arguably one of the quickest players in the world.

Oh and he is a scoring threat: 12 league goals for Augsburg last season and he recently scored a brace in Gladbach's  4-1 win over Schalke.
