Cecil Shorts has already missed the team's first two games to injury, while Week 1 breakout star Allen Hurns left the stadium on crutches, per Rotoworld, though his injury isn't deemed to be terribly serious, per Oehser:

Regardless, Chad Henne will have a diminished passing attack at their disposal this week. Losing a safety valve like Lewis certainly hurts—the tight end has eight receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown this year.

A reliable target and safety blanket for the quarterback, Lewis' long stint on the sidelines is just another blow to an 0-2 Jaguars team that hasn't had much momentum thus far in the 2014 season.
