Brandon Marshall Gives Jay Cutler a Victory Smooch After Beating 49ers

The Chicago Bears had no business beating the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

Marc Trestmanโ€™s team came out flat as day-old seltzer at Leviโ€™s Stadium, surrendering 20 points in the first three quarters and failing to establish consistency on either side of the ball.

Then Brandon Marshall happenedโ€”or rather, the Jay Cutler-to-Marshall connection happened, and the gameโ€™s momentum shifted on its axis.ย

Courtesy of a sudden defensive renaissance, Cutler and the Bears offense were given the opportunity to strike back. They answered the call by scoring three fourth-quarter touchdowns and bending a certain loss into a statement win.ย

Naturally, it was a performance to celebrate for the Bears, and Marshall stamped the moment with a celebratory smooch for his quarterback. Barstool Sportsโ€™ Big Cat (h/t Sean-Wagner McGough of NextImpulseSports.com) captured a Vine of the bromantic moment. It was patently adorable.

The Marshall-to-Cutler victory smooch is becoming a marquee moment after big Bears wins. Our first example came after a win over the Browns last December when the wideout smacked a surprise kiss on Cutler during a postgame interview.

Is there anything more precious than Cutler trying to play it cool through a victory kiss? I don't think so.ย
