Chelsea and Arsenal Go Head-to-Head over Paco Alcacer

Only last week, talkSPORT reported Chelsea were interested in Valencia's Paco Alcacer.

Now the Daily Mirror reports the Blues are upping their pursuit of him.

Jose Mourinho and company will have to contend with interest from Arsenal, who have also been put on alert over the 21-year-old stalling on a new deal.

He has just under two years left on his current contract, which also includes a £15 million release clause.

It's believed Valencia are eager to sign him to a longer deal and increase his transfer fee with it.

Former Chelsea Striker Nicolas Anelka Moves to Mumbai City

Chelsea strikers are making headlines right now after Diego Costa's thrilling start to his Blues career.

Ex-Stamford Bridge hero Nicolas Anelka is also making big news in India after he announced he is joining Mumbai City in the new Indian Super League, per the Evening Standard.

"I'm pleased to join Mumbai City FC & very exciting in joining [sic] Indian Super League," Anelka tweeted.

Anelka spent four years at Chelsea, joining in January 2008 from Bolton Wanderers before leaving for Shanghai Shenhua in 2012.
